Awards & Designations for E2 Homes in Jacksonville
Along with our other awards and designations, we are a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist from the NAHB (National Association of Home Builders). This gives us specialized knowledge for building adaptable homes for seniors. It also provides insight into remodeling homes for children and adults with special needs and those requiring wheelchair accessible homes in the Jacksonville area.
NAHB describes the designation as:
“The Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) designation program teaches the technical, business management, and customer service skills essential to competing in the fastest growing segment of the residential remodeling industry: home modifications for the aging-in-place.”
The tools and training that we have received not only apply to the aging-in-place, but to all who need a home that is adaptable to their needs, no matter what kid of limitations or disability they have. Whether a loved one needs a wheelchair accessible home in Jacksonville or an adaptible home in St. Johns, we can help. Our services include adding ramps, widening doorways, creating roll up sinks for wheelchair accessibility, pull down cabinets, etc. In 2020, we built a custom home for a disabled military veteran that included over 40 special home modifications. See the photos below of the various adapations we made to the home.
